A camera for kids that shows you things from their perspective

Children see the world differently. I wanted to create a way for them show us what they are interested in.

I designed a camera for children. The camera is oblong which nudges the child to naturally hold it like a telescope. This means every photo the child takes will be from their eye level, giving each photo a meaningful perspective. Photos uploaded to an app on their parent’s phone, letting the parents stay up to date on their child’s daily discoveries.

This was a third-year university project. It was submitted into an Irish student design competition where it won first place.
